Good day!
It’s no secret that textures are a hit these days. You can find them in many places here on the interwebs, in all sorts of flavors.
I never really got into the texture thing, not making them anyway. But the other day in my photography class, I realized that maybe it wasn’t such a bad idea.
You see, as a photographer, it’s important to slow down and gather your surroundings. Going out with cameras blazing is fine, but you tend to miss some interesting and unique opportunities. That is, unless you slow down.
So that’s what I’ve been doing.
I’ve collected about 40 different texture so far, with many more to come. And I’ve realized that by just slowing down and looking around, I find many things that could make a great photo. I’ve also noticed that there are many different and unique textures all around us, that we may take for granted.
I have to credit @calebkimbrough for his tutorial on creating great textures. I followed his instructions, added a couple things of my own, and have assembled my first ever Texture Pack. If you’d like to visit his post, you can by going here…Ultimate Guide for Creating High Quality Textures.
I hope you like them. Please comment and tell me what you think.
Thank you so much!
