Tag Archives: mountains My family and I took a trip up the mountains today, to Medicine Wheel. We stopped briefly at Sibley Lake to let Vader run around a bit, and then continued on. (I was actually quite surprised my wife wanted to come along, considering Germany was playing Uruguay for 3rd place in the World Cup!) Once...  I believe this is one of many rock formations called “Chimney Rock”, not only in Wyoming but in the country as well. Whatever the case may be, it’s a pretty impressive sight. And if you’re lucky enough to see it when the sun shines on it, it almost glows a brilliant red!  Living 15 minutes from the Big Horn Mountains is awesome. I can take a short drive and be surrounded by pine trees, breath fresh air, and have infinite possibilities for great photos. A friend of mine called this morning wanting to know if I wanted to go up the canyon for some whitewater rafting. Do... |
